Sounds right to me. Although WhiteManistan appears to have a great deal of imagination, it’s all the wrong kind.

Richard Rodgers composed the song Edelweiss some time after fleeing New York. He had settled in the Rocky Mountain States. Seemingly a paean to Austria the song was a barely disguised middle-finger to AH. That the flower’s name itself suggested onanism did not go unremarked by the more bawdy stage interpreters of the song, often accompanying their performances with a variety of lewd gestures.
