The American for a country where contempt is a virtue. Wait around for the rant in New Haven about “food stamp cocksuckers” who use the program to buy “crack.”
The Connecticut newspaper was not wrong when it compared his profane ideology to the Ku Klux Klan.
To Ted Nugent, most Americans are “cocksuckers.”
By dint of Media Matters and YouTube, all can see one of the most public bigots of our time, and — boy — is he angry about it.

From PARIAH mag cover star, Ted Nugent, at WorldNetDaily:
As I celebrate the greatest R&B rocktour of my gravity defying career, the Ted Nugent Black Power Tour 2013, paying homage and gushing love every night for the black musical geniuses that inspire all great music, like I have for more than 50 years, it pains me deeply to see the return of such nasty, unnecessary racism erupting across America today.
And before the racism scam industry unleashes their predictable, soulless lying hatred at me, my musicians include my dear black friend Johnny Gunnel and Marco Mendoza, a Mexican-born American. For like everybody I have ever known, and the George Zimmerman family as well I believe, there does not exist a racist fiber in the bones of any Nugent or Nugent associate. Not by any stretch of the imagination, contrary to the real racists out there. I have never met a racist, but I see and hear them on TV all the time, more and more lately …
Did you happen to mention that the misguided, I believe racist prosecution team’s prime witness, one Rachel Jeantel, displayed pretty much every self-inflicted bad choice that really oppresses blacks?
Obesity is also a major cause of death for blacks. That no one disciplined Rachel to get the most basic education to be able to read or speak clearly is the root of unemployment for blacks.
In light of this wisdom, the banner of Ted’s column is UNINTENTIONALLY THE BEST ON THE SUBJECT, EVER!

One can only bow the head in admiration. What a publication! What a guy!
And this is the best iJunkcast ever.

Because of his well-publicized comments on the Zimmerman trial, Ted Nugent has become the object of a picket to get him out of a gig at Toad’s Place in New Haven, Conn.
The local newspaper, the New Haven Register, came down firmly on the matter. It is the first time I’ve seen a mainstream daily newspaper have the stones to call Nugent a bigot in no uncertain terms. The newspaper runs down the laundry list of Nugent-isms, many of which you have read here. His public record is quite clear.
Excerpted:
Ted Nugent is not welcome in New Haven, and Toad’s Place should cancel the Aug.6 concert he is planning here.
It’s not a question of censorship. It’s about the type of people to whom Toad’s Place, as an institution in a community whose values are the opposite of Nugent’s, chooses to provide a platform.
Nugent is a racist, misogynistic, homophobic hate-monger who has demeaned and even threatened violence against the people who live in our community …
Toad’s Place wouldn’t (we hope) choose to host a lecture by David Duke or a concert by the KKK’s house band. So why do its managers think it’s acceptable to support someone who is saying the same kinds of things …
And this is the key to making people pay a penalty for empowering Ted Nugent in the marketplace of ideas. It’s possible for the New Haven newspaper, the city, and a big picketing group, to hurt Toad’s Place. Maybe not enough to stop the Nugent show this year but enough to guarantee he won’t be back again.
I worked for a newspaper. You hand out enough bad press and you can afflict those who need and deserve affliction.
Media Matters has put together a video chain of Ted Nugent words over the last few years.
Nugent’s speech may be protected but he’s also a certified shit-heel, someone who if he were not famous would be treated with no more deference than a guitarist in a white supremacy punk rock band. In a real democracy, not American democracy, he would be a pariah.
And there’s the thing in 2013 America. It made Ted Nugent’s public hate into a money-maker. He is as much a creature of CNN and the Washington Post as he is of the extreme right wing.

The rest of the country is now sort of hipping to the fact that newspaper reporters, tv men and music journalists calling Ted Nugent just a good speaker with colorful opinions, for years, has had a regrettable result.
This:
But George Zimmerman and his entire family, innocent of any wrongdoing, have lost everything and will be in debt for a long, long time for having to fight the trumped-up charges that he “profiled??? and/or set out to murder the poor, helpless, dope-smoking, dope-peddling, gangsta wannabe, Skittles hoodie boy.
No link, from Nugent’s column at WorldNetDaily, the second in two days on the same matter, only with the hate speech turned up louder.
It is hard to imagine a copy editor who is a decent human being not walking off the job upon being assigned a column containing that. Certainly, of all the copy editors and editors I’ve worked for or known, none would have stomached it or bought any arguments that it had worth as controversial free speech.
It’s just pure cruelty.
The mainstream media made Ted Nugent a more successful character. He’s as much a creature of CNN and network news as he is of fringe extreme right wing websites. Music journalists who have to deal with him every weekend on his summer tour of dumps hardly touch him other than to print whatever he says.
A few days ago, at the Phoenix New Times, the terrible alternative news weekly company that bought the Village Voice and its properties years ago:
Nugent: Clearly Democrats have a solid lock on racism by scamming dishonest policies that continue the slavery of dependency that has hurt the black community more than any other … Historically it was the Democrat Party that fought against civil rights on all fronts, even infesting the evil subhuman KKK. The truth is very ugly and hurts, doesn’t it?
Ted Nugent is this summer’s public standard-bearer for malice delivered fresh from WhiteManistan every week.
There’s a cost for mainstreaming hate speech as bread-and-circuses entertainment and the final line on the bill for it isn’t in sight.

The man the WaPost devoted a Sunday magazine feature to, delivering the pure milk of human kindness for which he is known and revered:
“And so it was for a few weeks until the race-baiting industry saw an opportunity to further the racist careers of Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, the Black Panthers. President Obama and Attorney General Eric Holder, et al, who then swept down on the Florida community refusing to admit that the 17-year-old dope smoking, racist gangsta wannabe Trayvon Martin was at all responsible for his bad decisions and standard modus operendi [sic] of always taking the violent route … [No] one can possibly dispute the recent surge in black racism increasing throughout Barack Obama’s presidency … The only racism on that night was perpetrated by Trayvon Martin.”

I’ve refrained from commenting on the Washington Post’s feature-length profile of Ted Nugent for the 4th of July weekend because of its nature as a troll piece.
The purpose of a newspaper troll piece is to put something up so ridiculous and annoying it guarantees eyeballs from around the web.
And so it is with the piece on Ted Nugent. Reporter Steve Hendrix visited Nugent in Waco, using the opportunity to get the man to admit he’s thinking of running for President.
Of course this is a lie. Even Nugent knows he couldn’t get elected, except in a region that puts people like Louie Gohmert in office.
It’s almost worth wishing for because a Ted Nugent for President run would hasten the GOP’s total collapse. Ted Nugent’s appeal is in rallying the crazy stupid, stupid crazy, and mean — of WhiteManistan.
Hendrix writes this, at one point:
There are Web sites devoted to collecting and sorting and linking to the vast litany of misdeeds and accusations Nugent has accumulated over the rock-star decades: his recent no-contest pleas to deer hunting with bait in California and taking one black bear too many in Alaska (he says both prosecutions were politically motivated) …
That would be here, for one, where Hendrix picked up the information on Nugent being tossed from a big summer festival in Michigan back in 2003 for flinging slurs — one of them being the “n-word” — on a radio show. It was published on DD blog, along with a packet of old clippings about the matter, three years ago.
A correction the Post added to Hendrix’s Nugent profile best captures its meretricious quality:
An earlier version of this article incorrectly says that he raised five children. Nugent fathered nine children, three of whom lived at home with him. This version has been corrected.
Perhaps the correction could have added the majority of Nugent’s children were illegitimate, although the story makes it obvious once you dig through enough of it.
The article makes one good, if obvious, point. Ted Nugent is catnip for the mainstream media. He is one of America’s most visible raging assholes and there’s a lot of money in that.
Nugent-like characters are not uncommon in American history. Joe McCarthy, Roy Cohn and Gordon Liddy come to mind. In the past, however, their nasty character eventually achieved a counter-productive critical mass, doing them in. That doesn’t happen now, more just means more.
Yes, by all means, Ted Nugent for President! He’ll be the only person ever to run for the office who was investigated by the Secret Service for potentially threatening remarks made in reference to the current office-holder. When the Secret Service arrives at your door, everyone knows it’s to hand out the John Wilkes Booth Memorial Medal of Good Citizenship.
Could you think of a better qualification in the Republican Party? Bring on the merriment that the world might be made richer with the laughter.

Will really rally the missing women, Hispanic, gay, African American and youth vote.
No link. Too easy.

This is an excerpt explaining the southern sentiment, taken from Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story.
Boogie Man shows how Atwater motivated the white vote through use of the Nixonian southern strategy of fear of the black man. It put the first Bush in the White House, later providing the framework to unleash GWB on the US.
With WhiteManistan in demographic decline, this week’s SCOTUS decision crippling the Voting Rights Act unleashed the worst of the Deep Southern sentiment on the non-white and poor in every state currently under GOP and Tea Party control since the 2010 elections.
The GOP viscerally understands it can enact predatory laws targeting its enemies faster than US “democracy” can undo them.
One can look at it as being able to wage Civil War 2 without instigating the casus belli of firing on Fort Sumter or assaulting African Americans on Pettus Bridge.
In the United States, the Republican Party threatens the security of many average Americans, daily. In the south, no time was wasted after the Supreme Court ruling into getting to it.
I recommend Boogie Man because it so well illustrates how the grinding bigot animosity of the South made true political power all over the country.
And while it’s people are slowly running out of their time, it has not gone away, still posing a very clear threat to progress and a genuinely civilized nation.
Trivia note: Yes, that’s the Boogie Man in “Ricin Mama.
Right on time, from Ted Nugent’s column at World Net Daily:
Chronic stupidity is killing our republic. The gravest problem our republic faces: Stupid people vote …
The Founding Fathers surely must have forgotten to include a provision in our Constitution to prohibit stupid people from voting, or maybe people back then were more informed and responsible and not as stupid as they are today.
So now, a gaggle of stupid senators from both parties is trying to push some stupid immigration reform bill that, if signed into law, will ultimately make tens of millions of non-American criminals U.S. citizens …
The Republicans who support making criminals citizens want cheap criminal labor. The Democrats want the criminal votes. Meanwhile, those Americans addicted to common sense will be strangled and drowned with insurmountable new debt due to the crushing demand by these “new??? Americans on our social welfare system, which is already broke and unsustainable.
The bigot’s bigot puts his best foot forward, as usual.

The fake news — Ted Nugent died in a jet ski accident at an island resort. Ted’s not fit enough to jet ski. He has often been seen walking with a cane (this, friends, is the cane) and has either had or needs double knee replacement.
Click the link. And what kind of dork wears shirts with his initials monogrammed on the pocket? (TNbmf = Ted Nugent, ballistically maximized firepower.)
On the other hand, WhiteManistan is very slowly dying out.
From the NYT, yesterday:
Deaths exceeded births among non-Hispanic white Americans for the first time in at least a century, according to new census data, a benchmark that heralds profound demographic change.
The disparity was tiny — only about 12,000 — and was more than made up by a gain of 188,000 as a result of immigration from abroad. But the decrease for the year ending July 1, 2012, coupled with the fact that a majority of births in the United States are now to Hispanic, black and Asian mothers, is further evidence that white Americans will become a minority nationwide within about three decades …
Nationally, said Kenneth M. Johnson, the senior demographer at the Carsey Institute, a research center based at the University of New Hampshire, “the onset of natural decrease between 2011 and 2012 was not anticipated.??? He attributed the precipitous shift in part to the recession, adding that “the growing number of older non-Hispanic whites, which will accelerate rapidly as the baby boom ages, guarantees that non-Hispanic white natural decrease will be a significant part of the nation’s demographic future.???
But fear of the non-white man in the White House made them vote for the very people whose economic policies (how many red states have decided to fight Obamacare) make their “natural decrease” to increase.
Socialism, tyranny! Over our dead bodies!
Trivia: Clicking on the WhiteManistan link is an easy way to see Google summarize the art and pictures of the blog. It’s an amusing idiosyncratic collection of modern Americana and lethal trinkets.
Question for readers: Should I change the name of the blog? Escape from WhiteManistan? Culture of Lickspittle?

The Washington Post did everyone a favor in publishing Jeff Nugent’s break with his famous brother on guns and the culture of the National Rifle Association over the weekend.
By dint of the Post’s publication it has been republished in many smaller newspapers around the country this morning.
Ted Nugent’s comeback was published by one of WhiteManistan’s many crank news sites, Newsmax.
At Newsmax, only the converts read Ted. But small newspaper publications guarantee many more Americans, from all sides, will see the opinion of his brother.
And that has to sting. Because Jeffrey Nugent’s opinion was gentlemanly and well-reasoned. Ted Nugent, on the other hand, rests his entire career on extremism and incivility. He’s very well known for regularly metaphorically recommending violent ends for enemies.
From a Beaumont, TX, newspaper’s blog:
Jeffrey Nugent asks,
Why would responsible gun owners want to protect people who threaten not only our safety but our gun rights?
People that leave guns unsecured in their house with their children.
Or buy a dangerous weapon dangerous weapon as a gift for a five year old.
Another problem associated with Nugent’s incivility is his inability in getting anyone interested in bankrolling a record for his art.
Ted Nugent built his old rockstar career on writing tunes about what he knew. That was mostly about screwing young women when he was still attractive enough to do it, and somewhat less about hunting and the call of the wild.
He can’t do that anymore. Hard rock music about lusting for women and having one’s way with them, when you look like this, is merely ludicrous. (Go ahead, click that link!)
And an album, with songs all about hunting, shooting and eating venison, has no chance, even in the oldies circuit.
To be a songwriter, it’s good to go with what you know.
What does Ted Nugent know well now? Hating on African Americans, Hispanics, gays, “hippies,” the president, liberals, moochers, the list goes on and on.
Overflowing with piss and venom, it would be a compelling collection. But no one would touch it with a ten foot pole.
I figured it all out for Ted a year or two ago. I saw where he was going if he played his pundit career to the maximum.
And this is the album I had him making:

A nod to his old song, “Stormtroopin,'” I described it here:
His great gift of expression is through guitar. But you will never see Ted compose an album of songs based on what he really thinks.
