Grenades, just because I can

I am ashamed to admit I once had the Starship album.

Did they somehow miss Dee Snider looking like a really big and mean transvestite when he sang this?

Easy on the helium.

Sadly, there can be no Tough Crowd Boogie in a Rock of Ages world.

    iiiiiiii……

    1) I love this … wait a minute… where’s the guitar at?
    2) In the transition to film, I do believe something was “lost in translation”
    3) “Easy on the helium, pal! You keep that up… you’re facing death by autotune!

It’s the sound of a new era! It’s the sound of long-haired misfits and processed guitar tones blowing out the walls! It’s the ALL-NOW wail of teenage rebellion!

Where’s American International when you need them?

    THAT SHIT WAS REAL

Dick… is “embalmation” a word, or am I just imaging things again?

Embalmed works. What’s worse, while it’s kind of a Frankie and Annette kind of thing, there’s no Eric von Zipper. No von Zipper update, no cred.

And if Regis and Kelly could stand the big mean drag queens …

This is kinda awesome because they stomp through it, Mark Mendoza looks frightening without make-up, and one of the guitars is slightly outatune on the solos..

This morning I woke up with the image of Lenin on my mind…

“Ever get the feeling you’ve been cheated?”

    Starship – “Girls Like You

    PS: Kinda awesome, indeed!
